Zombie Objective - Explore your inner Zombie Killer on Android

Zombie Objective from Killer Bean Studios is a supped-up Zombie killing game for the Android OS that pushes all aspects of the genre to the max, and beyond.

Killer Bean Studios is well known in certain circles for their Killer Bean movie about an angry bean trying to get some sleep but party beans down the road just won't let him. He unleashes his revenge... So there is a good pedigree here.

The Mission

In Zombie Objective, you play the role of city liberator from a pack of roving Zombies who are intent on keeping the city to themselves.

You must take to the streets to act as a protector to take back the city, fight the marouding crowds of flesh-eating Zombies and try to live through it all to fight (or run away screaming!) for another day.

Covert Action

The operation is to move through 7 unique environments dealing with the different kinds of Zombies. There are the mutant zombies, the shufflers (you know the type), the spitters (yuk!), the fire zombies, armored zombies which are tough to kill, and exploding zombies!

To handle the dangers, the player has access to 21 different types of weapons from modern day arsenal and some futuristic ones as well. Take a long shot with a sniper, go close up and bloody with a shot-gun, or go all out with a heavy machine gun that spits out casings at a rapid clip. There are also melee weapons for taking a hellish run at the zombie crowds using an axe, katana, crowbar, machete or dragon sword. It really just depends how you wanna roll!

The footwear and armor also plays an important part in ongoing survival and there are different options to kit up. A slow motion device a la Max Payne, power ups, med kits, and other extra equipment can all be used to mix things up bringing new elements to the game.

Gameplay Modes

There are different types of gameplay to choose between. Sniper for the long distance shots, Gather, Defend, Survival, Protect, Attack, and Boss Battles.

This level of gameplay alternatives can keep the game entertaining long after other Zombie games would have become stale. Many zombie games involve endless running and cutting down the undead over and over. With Zombie Objective, there is more cunning, strategy and deliberation involved in what gameplay mode to select and the types of objects to use to defend and attack in order to clear the city of the undead once and for all.

For the timid or those who want to save their trigger finger, there is an auto-fire mode. For the hardened first-person shooters out there, a manual trigger mode is the only way to go. A virtual analog stick makes it easy to control the player in the game and 180 degrees of movement means the player can cover their own back when out on patrol.

Cloud Access

It is possible to use the Google Play Cloud to save the progress in the game so that someone with more than one Android device can play Zombie Objective and then pick up where they left off using the second Android device later.

160 MB of free RAM is needed on the Android device to run the game smoothly.
