2 full How to Install Flash and Play Flash Videos on Android 44 KitKatAndroid users all over the world are having a major problem at the moment – the Android 4.4 KitKat update disables Flash content and does not provide any straightforward way to turn it back on. This may sound great to developers that are living in the near future when Flash will be completely obsolete, but in today's world, even though Flash is frowned upon by search engines and is being used less and less by developers, it is still practically ubiquitous in online media, and without it you simply can't enjoy all of your favorite sites and online games.

Fortunately, there is a backdoor way to re-enable Flash in Android 4.4 KitKat, and the good news is you will not need to have root access to your device and you won't have to go through any complicated ROM-flashing procedures. Just follow the simple steps below and your device should be Flash-compatible again in no time:

Note: Keep in mind that you'll be downloading everything you need to make this happen, so an internet connection will be necessary.

Step 1 – First, you'll need to set your Android KitKat operating system to accept app installations from unknown sources. To do this you'll need to enter the Settings menu, click on the “Security” tab, and then check the box next to Unknown Sources. After this you'll be able to download apps that are not found in the Google Play store (this is a very important first step).

Step 2 – Go to the Google Play store and install the popular Dolphin browser.

Step 3 – Ensure that Dolphin Jetpack is installed as well. This is a component of the Dolphin browser you downloaded in the step above – it should be installed and enabled within Dolphin by default, but if it isn't make sure you download it and enable it before proceeding to the next step.

Step 4 - If you already have Adobe Flash installed on your device then you'll need to uninstall it. To do that, enter into the Settings menu, click the Apps section, and then click on Adobe Flash to begin the uninstall process.

Step 5 – Now that you've ensured there are no installed copies of Adobe Flash on your device you can go and download the hacked Adobe Flash APK (mirror).

Step 6 – Once you've downloaded the file from the previous step, navigate to it in your downloads folder and open it to begin installing the hacked Adobe Flash APK.

Step 7 – After the hacked APK has been installed, launch the Dolphin web browser that you downloaded in step 2. Open the Settings menu in the Dolphin browser and under the Web Content section make sure the checkbox next to Flash Content is enabled. If it is not then be sure to enable it.

Finally, before you enjoy your flash content it is a good idea to uncheck the Unknown Sources box that you checked in Step 1 as a security precaution.
