Fable Fortune Revealed

Before its closure, Lionhead started developing a digital card game called Fable Fortune.

Fortunately, the title’s development wasn’t abandoned completely after the studio’s closure, and Microsoft commissioned its continuation to Flaming Fowl Studios, which is actually composed by former Lionhead employees. Even though Microsoft supports the project, the development team has not yet found a publisher for the title, and therefore turns its look at Kickstarter in order to gather the necessary funds.

The relative campaign is scheduled to begin today (May 31), and the primary goal is to collect £250.000 within four weeks. Finally, a few weeks after the end of the campaign, Flaming Fowl Studios will launch the game’s open beta version for the PC and Xbox One, a date which, according to plan, will be in October.

The release of the game should be expected in 2017.
