Samsung Mocking Apple With Latest Series of Ads

Unless you've been living in a cave for the last few days, you'll have realized that Apple just came out with two new iPhones.

The company who's late founder, Steve Jobs, previously stated at the iPhone 4 launch that “No one is going to buy a big phone,” it has been doing a fair bit of back tracking of late. And Samsung has been noticing the changes.

In some ways this is an understandable reaction by the Korean technology company to Apple presenting their larger iPhone as if they came up with the idea in the first place and they're first to market. Well they are not.

Samsung tweeted as much just to make sure Apple was paying proper attention this time.

Was this mention in poor taste from Samsung or has enough time passed to make this connection. Given the show-boating that ensued at the latest Apple walking on water stunt, I would think it is fair game to point out the obvious. Apple should be eating humble pie, not acting like the invented larger phones. Other manufacturers have been doing that for two years already. Where were you, Apple?

Several TV adverts have come out from Samsung recently highlighting the absurdity of the recent Apple event and highlighting how the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is more impressive than the Apple iPhone 6 Plus.

This is not the first time that Samsung has tussled with Apple either. Their mocking of the need of the iPhones to plug in to a power socket at every opportunity was even promoted right where Apple iPhone owners were indeed charging up at the airport. Irony laid on thick.

The U2 backlash was also interesting. Following the forced addition of the latest U2 music album to all the iTunes subscribers, some went online to complain what was this new music in their account using up valuable space that they never requested.
