E3 2016 in Numbers

Another E3 came to an end (although the news will continue to... "flow" on the internet) and like every year, the exhibition organizers announce the event's statistics.

So at E3 2016 was attended by over 70.000 people, including 50.300 field professionals, analysts, journalists, and fans, while 20,000 video game fans attended E3 Live. Additionally, in this leading global game event, more than 1,600 products from more than 250 exhibitors appeared.

In addition, another thing worth noting is the participation of social media, video share services and news media, since a new record of posts and likes in Twitter was achieved (over 7 million posts), as well as in Instagram (over 500 thousand likes). Moreover, more than 42 million people watched content from E3 via Twitch. The audience on this platform was higher than any other event that was broadcast live on the internet.

Finally, ESA also revealed that the next E3 to be held on June 13-15, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. So, until next time!
