Wondershare Filmora is a video editor that provides many useful ways to edit HD content like 1080p or 2160p digital video content.

The software can import HD video content ready for editing. The software is especially useful for YouTube channel owners who need to take their content complete with the occasional awkward pause, fluffed intro and “ums” and “aahs” and remove them to create a perfect-looking performance before uploading it.

Have a bunch of travel or expo photos that you wish to turn into a live video with some interesting animation effects? Then look no further as Wondershare Filmore does more than the video editing; it can handle photos and make them more interactive for video-addicted viewers.

With video editing there are more than 300 video effects to create seamless transitions between one take and the next to help make awkward cuts look perfect via a video effect. Add a voiceover to explain details not included in conversation. A longer running audio track can also be added, so digital films can include a commentary track from the creators and actors too.

Installation

The installation completed without any issues.

There was no adware, toolbars, spyware or malware included with the setup package.

Wondershare Filmora requires Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 10.

Interface

The interface is slick and nicely laid out.

Media can be directly added or dragged over to the correct area and dropped right in.

There is a row of action buttons that can be used and sit below the input pane. These are for Media, Music, Text/Credit, Filters, Overlays, Elements, Transitions, Split Screen, and Export.

To the right is the video preview. The aspect ratio is shown and can be altered to see how the content will look like at different ratios. During playback, the hours, minutes, seconds and frame number are shown.

The main pane below is the timeline track which depicts the timeline through the video track. There are several areas with buttons to work with the timeline and change included elements there.
