Talking Ben the Dog for iPhone is an early iPhone app for iOS 3 or later which lets kids interact with a talking dog by prodding and poking him in different places. Record a video of your child interacting with the dog. Touch the newspaper to get Ben the dog to fold it over. Ben is also capable of repeating what you say in parrot-like fashion, so kids can enjoy that aspect too. Ben can eat, take a sip of a drink and let out a burp if just the right button is pressed. As long as you talk into the iPhone or use earphones with an inline microphone, then Ben the dog will be able to hear when he's spoken to and can respond.
