Tagman is a music collection manager that specializes in downloading fresh meta data from the internet to help improve the ID3 tag content. The ID content tags are displayed in a mobile phone or music player which makes it a nice idea to clean them up so that the correct information is displayed when playing an album and a particular song. Songs are checked by generating a checksum which is compared against the online database to determine which song is from which album. This avoids mistakes being made with cover songs have the same name as the original but being recorded by a different artist.
