Ownership is an ownership package for Windows which subtly gets around the problem of file ownership and access privileges. With Windows, if one doesn't create or own the file, then it can be problematic to say the least to access the file and make changes to it. Not being the owner, Windows may block such access and cause a considerable roadblock administratively. With this application, it is possible to resolve this problem by modifying the Discretionary Access Control lists to override the current owner and replace that person with the user of the Ownership app.
