NixNote is an Evernote clone originally designed for use on the Linux platform, but also able to run under Windows and Mac OS X. Just as with Evernote, you are able to create your own notebooks, and then insert pages within each notebook. The pages can contain text, images, reports and other attachments. You can add tags to notes, which are shown in the tag window on the left side. Clicking on one of these can show you all the items with that tag. These is also a history window to show you what your recent activity has been. The software runs on Java which is why it is cross-compatible.
