Crypt4Free is a file encryption software package with some extras. It is a free version of a larger premium package sold by InterCrypto called Advanced Encryption Package Professional. Crypt4Free is serious about encryption with advanced options to encrypt data using a 32 character password using the powerful Blowfish 448-bit protocol. The software is said not to have a backdoor, so if you forget your own password, then you won't be able to access the data. There is also the feature to encrypt SMS text messages, which the software can decrypt on the other end for the other user.
