Holiday Calculator is a useful package which determines when American national holidays fall depending on the year entered into this Java program. It works whether the year is BC or AD. The program can be helpful when creating calendars in advance of publication and needing to know when certain holidays will fall next year or in 5 years' time. Plan meetings and schedules ahead of time by avoiding setting dates which coincide with national holidays in that year. Also useful to research historically when holidays fell in years gone by. Sixty-nine holiday events are currently covered in the program.
