ExifPro is an image browser application that can help you display, describe, tag, and manipulate your collection of photographs.

ExifPro offers several view modes like thumbnails, previews, or image details. Selected images may be copied, resized, cropped, rotated, renamed, and adjusted. ExifPro can present information embedded in photographs (EXIF metadata) describing different parameters used by digital cameras while taking shots. One can create HTML albums or slide shows using built-in generators, print images, append descriptions, and tags, automatically rename and transfer photographs.

Viewer window provides zooming and panning, image color and aspect correction, light table, and a slide show.

Here viewer can be seen with a preview bar, and a light table. Preview bar provides quick access to all loaded images, and the light table may be used as a place to keep selected images. View can be split in up to four panes to inspect several images side by side, while magnifier allows examining photos in detail.

- Speed
ExifPro offers fast access to photographs both while scanning folders and opening them in a viewer. Caching mechanism speeds up access to already visited folders.
- Tools
Set of tools to manipulate JPEG files: resizing, rotating, cropping, adjusting colors and levels, transferring, printing as well as generating HTML pages and stand-alone slide shows.
- Loss-less and automatic rotation
ExifPro can rotate JPEG images without any loss in quality (no decoding & encoding). It also features an ability to rotate images automatically based on the orientation information stored by a digital camera.
- Tags
An ability to apply tags to photographs and copy them to folders based on the tags makes it easy to collect a group of images fulfilling your criteria.
- Color correction
Image Color Correction provides more faithful display of photographs.
- Aspect ratio correction
Monitor Resolution option along with the CRT Aspect Correction can restore original shapes in displayed photographs.
- Canon, Nikon, Olympus raw image
Canon raw images (CR2), Nikon's D70 and newer (NEF), Olympus E-300 (ORF) files contain big preview image. ExifPro can access CR2/NEF/ORF files directly reading embedded preview image.
- IPTC, XMP
File information can be appended to photographs in the XMP metadata and IPTC standard.
- GPS
Photographs with GPS information stored inside EXIF block show longitude, latitude location.
- Date/time correction
Correct timestamp of your photographs; adjust by a fraction of a second or hours/days.
- Catalog images
Create catalog file with thumbnail versions of your photographs.
- GPU acceleration
Image display uses GPU acceleration for smooth zooming, and rotation (version 2.0 only).
- x64 build
64-bit ExifPro build can handle big image collections and access entire computer memory (version 2.0 only).

Technical Information

ExifPro requires substantial amounts of memory and CPU processing power. 1 GB of RAM or more is recommended. Display mode with high- or true color is required. Screen resolution of 1024 by 768 or better is required. 1 GHz CPU or better is recommended.

Version 2.0 of ExifPro runs on Windows 7/Vista and XP. Version 1.0 supports all 32-bit Windows, including Windows 98/Me. Both versions work in 64-bit Vista and Windows 7 OS, but only 2.0 as a native 64-bit application.

ExifPro is written in C++ with considerable help from MFC, STL, Boost, and handful of other libraries. Depending on the destination OS setup will install either unicode version (Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7) or ANSI version (Windows 98/Me).
