Degoo is a cloud storage backup service which focused on the sharing of content between users rather than absolute cloud storage for personal and business use. The standard account is 3 GB of free space which then grows up to 100 GB depending on what files are shared with other users along the way. Files are split up, encrypted and then stored in a cloud array in 300 locations around the globe. The idea behind this is decentralized storage which protects against just about any major catastrophic event. Backups are re-synced when the user is next connected to the internet. A local copy of files is kept on the user's computer. Backups are sent based on file changes rather than all files being resent, which reduced bandwidth usage in the process.
