Burn4Free is a totally free DVD copy software program that allows you to copy both DVD's and CD's without errors or having to compromise on quality. It uses all the most well known audio formats in existence, ensuring that you get fully compatible audio tracks to accompany your DVDs. There's also a number of different file types for the visual output files of the DVD as well. It can record and save in ISO format, and even comes with error correction technology so you can be sure your files will turn out great. 

Installation:

Installation of this software only takes a few minutes. The program file size is very small, which makes it easy for your PC to get it installed quickly. This software is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, and Windows NT.  

While Burn4Free is a freeware program that we absolutely love, it does have some adware that comes bundled with it. While each download may have a different set of third-party apps offered, the ones we got were the SweetIM toolbar, Value Apps for Internet Explorer, and switching the homepage to Conduit Search by default. We hate adware as much as everyone else, that's why we were glad to see the option to install without these spyware packs. Simply un-check the adware boxes and the wizard will perform a clean install.

To use this software, you should also have at least 32 megabytes of RAM and at least a Pentium class CPU. 

Interface:

The interface of the Burn4Free DVD copy program is easy to work with. There's handy buttons to access some of the most common features, and also drop down menu boxes that allow you to get into the "roots" of the program. Also, the Preferences window allows you to customize the main functions of the program to your liking. 

It's easy for beginners to learn how to use, and since the program is free, you'll be seeing some advertisements within the program itself.

Nero Burning Rom - This is hands-down one of the most well liked DVD/CD burning software programs out there. It's very full featured, and comes with an array of tools and customizable settings that advanced users will be sure to love. Beginners can get the hang of the basic functions pretty quickly too, and Nero has spent years working on the perfection of their Burning Rom software. 

Roxio Creator NXT 2 - Whether you're working with photos, movies, DVD's, audio CD's, or raw data, Roxio Creator NXT 2 has you covered. The full version is a little pricey, but the program itself is absolutely perfect. This is the only software you need for creating DVD's or other CD media. You can even had Hollywood style effects to your videos easily. This is a must have program for families that like to use camcorders!

Conclusion:

Burn4Free is a totally free way to accomplish DVD copying and burning. Although the program comes with a few instances of spyware/adware, the program itself works like a charm. We were able to copy a DVD to ISO file in about an hour. Check out the screenshots we included to get a better idea of what the program actually looks like. Since the program actually works, and does what it says it will do, we're happy with it. And it's completely free to use and own. All in all, this is a great piece of software that's ad supported, which some people might not like, but it actually works well at what it does.
