BarDecode.NET is a .NET component for use in .NET developments. The component lets the programmer access several libraries that facilitate the addition of barcode recognition in a .NET application. Languages like C# and VB.NET can make use of these libraries and the developer included some examples to show how this can be accomplished. A handful of lines of code will allow the reading of 1D or 2D barcodes. This can be DataMatrix or modern QR codes commonly used today. The component can automatically detect which type of barcode is being scanned. Information available to apps including type, result, angle, position, bar code color, the checksum and confidence level.
