Ascii Design is a free ASCII text creation program. The user just simply enters the text into the first entry box and beautiful ASCII text is mocked up in the second display box. This ASCII diagram can be copied and pasted into a text editor later. Use as an email signature or for other purposes. This application takes the time out of designing ASCII text yourself which can take many hours. The software uses 95 ASCII characters which are all the ones that are safe to print out (there are 128 ASCII characters in total). ASCII layouts require a fixed non-proportional font like Courier where each character uses the same amount of space on the page in order that the ASCII diagram will line up correctly on every computer.
