Accumulate is a Java program to help build up values for different categories. This can be used in place of a spreadsheet package to determine relevant counts for different items. As such, the package can have many different uses. The application uses a command line and also can be used inside another Java program. Accumulate different items as the category and then the count for each item of that type. This can be encoded very simply and so the user does not even need to fully understand programming generally and programming languages specifically in order to test out this program.
