Overview

The Advanced Clipboard Lite package is a replacement to the classic Windows clipboard program. It overrides the existing package and replaces it with something more powerful. The Windows clipboard can only perform one copy operation and the next copy operation will overwrite the previous one. With Advanced Clipboard Lite up to 15 copy operations are kept in memory so that they can be used in whatever way the user requires without the immediate need to overwrite one of the 15 clipboard storage slots unless the user chooses to do so.

Once the user has started to use the software, it is hard to see how one would ever go back to using the standard clipboard. It is akin to use a simple calculator and then switching to one with multiple memories and a digital tape of past calculations to reference; such a user wouldn't want to go back to the simple calculator either.

The package will run on both 32-bit and 64-bit computing platforms on Windows 2003, XP, Vista and 7.

Installation

The installation process is really simple with Advanced Clipboard Lite. Very little space is needed for this tiny application. A shortcut icon is offered to be created for you.

Interface

The Advanced Clipboard Lite interface is essentially anywhere where a copy or pasting action can take place. A user can have the Notepad app open and right click to bring up the context menu.

The Main clipboard is shown with a list of up to 15 possible copied items that could individually be pasted into the present location.
