Tembo UUID Factory 2 is a handy utility that generates globally unique identifiers (GUID), compute hashes (MD family, SHA family, Haval family, RipeMD family and other) for your data (files and text) and change system identity.

The GUID is a 128-bit value is usually represented in hexadecimal format in five blocks of text separated by a hyphen in brackets. The number of possible variants is so large (2^128) that the chance of two identical production value is extremely small (if we generate milard identifiers per second for a year then the probability of a duplicate will be 50%). The GUID term also refers to the implementation of this standard UUID (universal unique identifier) ​​from Microsoft.

Tembo UUID Factory 2 allows you to generate a number of global IDs or hashes in one run. It also enables you to rename files using these values​​ (if you want to use hash, you can select file name or file content as data source for hash function) and compare files.

Tembo UUID Factory 2 also enables you to create completely new identity for your system.

System identity tool allows you to change system, Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player GUIDs/IDs, change tracing GUIDs (which can be used by malicious persons or even advertising companies to track your habits through a malicious code, such as ActiveX control, Java applet and other malware), change system name, version, owner and install date, change computer and host names, change OEM informations (both 9x and NT are supported).
