Dajukebox (formerly Soundbase) is a freeware music player that bridges the gap between a basic music player, a ID3 tag editor and a music catalog. With the use of the Microsoft® DirectShow® architecture, the app can play several major music formats including MP3, OGG, APE and loss-less FLAC sound files. Albums display down the left side with covers; the selected album's songs display in the playlist on the right. When audio acceleration is available, this is utilized to improve sound quality and ensure no skipping of sound playback during times when the PC has limited resources available. Access different DirectShow filters by referencing the help file to enable a wider range of music formats. BASS audio drivers can also be installed. Also there is a way to skin the player to make it generic.
