What you'll probably use most is the 6 days snow forecast report, which is free. You need a paid pass to view more than 6 days. The good thing about passes is that you can buy a one-time only short pass for 1, 2, 3 months if you're interesting in a season's only weather stats, a one-time 6 month pass if you plan to have an extended ski season, a one-time 24 months pass for the best discount value, or a recurring pass for 12 months. However, with weather conditions rapidly changing, you shouldn't expect a forecast extended further than 6 days to be accurate.

The forecast will show sun rising and setting times, how many cm of snow are expected to fall or how many mm of rain will drop, min/max temperatures, wind speed and direction, and freezing level meaning the altitude where it's 0 degrees Celsius, the freezing point of water.

These useful numbers are shown for morning, noon, and night, and again they are split to base, mid and top levels of the mountain in the resort you choose to monitor.

Snow finder is yet another neat feature. It will show the nearest resorts which have: new snow, powder, forecasted snow, mostly sunny weather, below 0 temperatures. The snow finder feature can be accessed from the semi-docked bottom bar, but it is only available after entering a resort forecast report.

Talking about the bottom bar which hides some more extra perks of the app, this bar's handling should be improved for iOS 7 since it lies on the same part of the screen as the iOS 7's control center.
