Serviio is a media server to permit the streaming of your own content from your PC. Connect devices like games console or other mobile device and then stream media files right out to them. The idea of a connected household is the main goal here, with a Pro version that adds to this design goal for the software. The package is flexible enough that it will work with digital TVs and games consoles like Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. Create profiles for each device you wish to stream connect to inside the home. This is a Java program, so it will run on Window, Mac and Linux, as well as embedded systems that use Java and NAS drives.
