Rubyripper for Mac is a CD ripping utility for the OS X platform. Rubyripper is run via cdparanoia functionality which does the actual ripping several times over and then compares the end results to ensure that they match. Presently the facility is run via the command line rather than a pleasant GUI interface, so users need to be comfortable in that environment. Support is provided for MP3, WAV, OGG/Vorbis and FLAC audio formats. Use different codecs in a single ripping run through. MD5 checksum is included in the log for each ripping process.
