Pagedefrag is a page file and registry defragmentation package. The Windows page file helps to speed up systems that lack enough RAM memory to run efficiently. The Windows registry stores important fundamental information about Windows which is necessary for it to run. Both of these areas of Windows are always in use and therefore cannot be defragmented while the OS is running. This package will run a defrag process upon rebooting the PC. Files are not saved in a single place but split up and saved in small fragments all over a storage device. The defrag process centralized their storage to speed up the access times for Windows which helps the OS run more smoothly.
