NTFSLinksView is as a utility that can quickly display all the NTFS drive system folder links already set up on the computer. The idea with NTFS links is that they are a convenient shorthand way for users (and the system) to refer to full paths. Instead of listing the full path which can a lengthy folder and sub folder to several levels deep, the NTFS Link is a much shorter, easily accessible version instead. This application displays both the symbolic links and also junction points within the NTFS system. This system ensures applications written for previous versions of Windows remain compatible with subsequent versions.
