Overview

MyGodMode is a free system utility that provides easier access to over 260 Windows functions in a single location rather than hunting through different system utilities trying to find the right option.

The software delivers a single application with a heading that is usually “All Tasks” or sometimes “Master Control Panel” (depending on the version). Within this application it's possible to access numerous system checks, look-ups and verifications depending on the type of information and action sought.

There are also some Windows system tweaks and customizations that form part of the features and options to be selected within the application.

The package is a useful one because it brings all the features of the Control Panel, Computer Management, Administration Tools and other areas of Windows into a single interface. This can save a great deal of time for system administrators and network administrators who need to act quickly to patch, update or configure systems (often many) in quick succession. It is also useful for the home user who would also like to both see all the available options and be able to customize them from a single screen.

Installation

During the installation the software has an explanation that MyGodMode will merge the features of the Desktop, Quick Start and Start Menu, with the content text menu, into a single location known as “All Tasks.”

The installation completes without issue. No additional software was added during the setup process.

MyGodMode requires Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10 Technical Preview (both 32-bit and 64 bit versions are supported).

Interface

The interface has a left toolbar which can help organize different areas like Favorites, Libraries, Computer and Network. Most have additional Windows program links.

To the right are the different types of sections which have numerous actions that can be taken. The sections that are initially visible include Action Center with 18 options, Administrative tool with 10 options, AutoPlay with 3 options, BitLocker Drive Encryption with 1 options, Color Management with 1 option, and the Credential Manager with 2 options. The list is quite extensive with a right-side scroll bar to reveal the remaining sections and features.
