My Clippings is a special app that can be run on Windows and extract out any notes and book highlights that have been added to the Amazon Kindle device. The My Clippings app can import all of these items and organize them easily for you. This software does not work in the cloud, so it doesn't work with the Amazon Cloud Reader. To use the app, connect the Kindle e-reader device to the PC via the USB cable and start the My Clippings application. Any new notes and highlights will then be transferred across as a copy from the Kindle e-reader to My Clippings. This also avoids the duplicated of notes already copied across. Tested on Kindle Paperwhite devices, but not earlier Kindle models.
