HardLink ShellExtension is a link shell extension which allows for the creation of junctions, hardlinks, disk volume mountpoints and symbolic links. A folder can be cloned using either hardlinks or symbolic links. File and folder copying can use junctions, hardlinks and symbolic links to do so. The link shell extension is utilized within Windows Explorer and it allows the user to select files and/or folders and then create symbolic links, hard links or junctions. These type of links are usable within a NTFS drive but are not supported on drives formatted using FAT file systems. Therefore, Windows based hard drives are needed to make use of this software.
