FrogAspi is an interface developed by Adaptec in order to create a language that can help to communicate between hardware drivers and SCSI host adapters. SCSI is a type of hard drive connection, similar to IDE, which is commonly used in work environments but less so on personal computer configurations. Drivers which are coded using the ASPI interface should be able to gain access to peripherals that use several different versions of SCSI host adapter which provides a great deal of flexibility for driver creators. The software is not able to support the modern USB or Firewire connected hard drives at all.
