FreeOTFE is an open-source, file and disk encryption app that runs under various version of Windows. The app can create a file or drive encryption using a virtual disk where everything inside the virtual disk is encrypted. FreeOTFE does not need to be installed to run and virtual disks can be accessed from any PC. It's also got a portable mode, so it can be taken on a USB flash drive into internet cafes and other insecure locations. Offers SHA-512, RIPEMD-160, Tiger and other strong algorithms. Has common cyphers like AES, Serpent and TwoFish (all 256 bit) and Blowfish (448 bit). Hidden volumes can be hidden within FreeOTFE volumes to obfuscate the truth of where your really sensitive data is located.
