EnCalcE is an electrical cost calculator which is useful for people who want to keep a close eye on their electricity meter, their utility bill and verify whether the numbers look right or not. Costs can be calculated over months, quarters and yearly which is helpful for budgeting purposes. CO2 generation is also calculated based on the number of kilowatts of electricity consumed which may be of interest to environmentalists and those who like to buy carbon offset credits to counteract their impact on the Earth. The package defaults to using pounds sterling as the currency but for other currencies this can just be ignored by using their own real cost figures and remembering that the figures they are using are their own local currency and not pounds.
