"European trader VAT ID checker"

The objective of Tembo EU VAT Checker is to allow persons involved in the intra-Community supply of goods or of services to obtain confirmation of the validity of the VAT (Value Added Tax) identification number, also called European VAT or EU VAT ID, of any specified person. This is must-have software for any serious company located in Community.

Tembo EU VAT Checker 2 is a client of the official European Commission system called VAT Information Exchange System (VIES), which collects information on all the traders who are VAT payers in the Community, so any received informations are trusted. Software goal is to supply instantaneous and accurate information from VIES. Any informations received from VIES are obtained from Member States' databases; it is the responsibility of the Member States to keep their databases complete, accurate and up to date.

You can verify the validity of a VAT number issued by any Member State by entering the number to be validated. If no prefix (country code) is included in number, prefered one (from the drop-down menu) will be used. Also is possible manually input many VAT numbers at the same time or import it from file (CSV and TXT formats are supported).

Tembo EU VAT Checker 2 can also verify the Polish tax number (NIP), even if the payer is not registered as a European taxpayer (that does not conduct business or activities to conduct or does not have a European VAT number) - will confirm correction of NIP and it will be designated the tax authority, which issued the number.

Tembo EU VAT Checker 2 has two edition: Small Business and Corporate. Small Business edition allow to verify small set of numbers in one pass and can be used for free in (small) company office purposes only. Corporate edition is no limited.
