Overview

Carambis Registry Cleaner is a tool to help improve the speed of a Windows computer by optimizing it and performing some basic maintenance on the system to improve its overall performance.

This Windows registry cleaner will look for errors in the registry that will cause confusing and problems when the registry is accessed. Incorrect DLL associations, invalid desktop icons that reference files that are no longer installed, unnecessary file extension associations, and references to old programs that were long since uninstalled.

Large temporary files that have been left dormant and clearly are no longer needed can be removed safely by the software. Duplicate audio files and duplicate image files can be searched for and removed to make more available space. Both of these actions can help to create more available space which can reduce the reliance on cloud services or the need to buy a larger external hard drive.

Applications can be uninstalled in order to reduce the number of programs that Windows has to track and clean out old program entries that are getting in the way. Files can also be permanently deleted.

A detailed scan will reveal how many files can be deleted, how many megabytes can be released, how many Windows registry errors there are and how many entries are invalid. ActiveX and COM errors in the Registry can be fixed. Missing fonts and incorrect application paths can be resolved. Scores and scores of issues have a fix here.
