ShapeView is essentially a viewer of several other packages that help work with various shapes, different maps and masterfully-crafted CAD drawings. The package can view ESRI shape files (using the SHP format), CAD files from popular AutoCAD package (using DXF format) and MapInfo files (using MIF format). It is not necessary to own and have installed the AutoCAD package, MapInfo package or a shape-based package to view their outputted files; ShapeView is the answer to view any of these popular formats.

What's new in this version: UI improvements: ZoomIn/Out using PgUp/PgDown keys. Source codes are available. DXF, MIF, SHP files can be viewed. avShapeView can be ran with shp, dxf, mif file name as a first argument. It is possible to save selection to file.
