Anvisoft PC Plus 1.0

Overview

Anvisoft PC Plus is a system utility package that is intended to resolve issues with the general operation of Windows, plus improve performance for games and Internet Explorer.

There is a basic five tile user interface which presents five options. Once inside one of these options, further features are broken down which are shown either as menu headings at the top or down the left hand side.

Resolve issues with the desktop icons. These can be searching for icons that link to non-existent programs, where icons are missing and other issues with icons.

Any network problems from Internet Explorer web browser playing up, to scripting errors when trying to load a page, can be addressed here.

Software issues centered around missing DLL link libraries, Adobe Flash Player issues, application crashes and installation problems can be addressed here.

System problems, including with Windows 8.1, blue screen of death issues, temp files clean up and other issues with the system can be reviewed here.

Games get some tune up which can help resolve frozen games, error codes with games, temporary files causing problems and other technical gaming issues which affect smooth playback can be addressed here.

Installation

The installation proceeded normally with no malicious software added during the setup process.

Anvisoft PC Plus requires Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8 (32-bit and 64-bit supported).

Interface

The interface has five white tiles over a dark blue background. Each of these tiles lists the type of features that can be accessed by selecting that tile. The main headings are Desktop icon, Network issue, System, Software, and Game. There is also a search box in the top right of the window interface.

A rolling list of different Windows issues fixes is shown in the footer of the window.

Pros

• Fix some system issues, shortcut icon problems, network issues, gaming problems, and more
• Good, clean interface
• Software responds quickly
• Internet Explorer and gamers may benefit the most

Cons

• Many of the features involve minor registry tweaks to achieve the same result
• Unclear how much the “fixes” really fix at the end of the day.

Conclusion

It is difficult to tell whether Anvisoft PC Plus really fixes much with their PC Plus package. There are many sections to work through, but it is unclear if the Windows system is really benefiting or not. Many of the fixes are really registry tweaks, but Internet Explorer and games may be the biggest draw.
