Overview

Adminner a software package to help manage local area networks (LANs). The software is agent-less so it does not need to be installed directly to a computer which makes it more flexible to use when moving around various corporate buildings.

A number of servers and workstations connected over the LAN can be centrally controlled using Adminner. Windows Services and programs can be accessed and managed directly rather than needing to log into each computer at the location. No domain service or Active Directory is needed in order to provide this level of access which makes the software easier to use than via a working group.

Services can be started, stopped and restarted to get things moving again on a central server when local staff are reporting being locked out of applications needed minute to minute. The IT technical staff do not need to be at the same location to resolve these kind of issues when using Adminner.

Installation

Being agent-less, the software does not technically need to be installed. It can be run on any Windows PC without an issue.

Adminner requires Windows and .NET Framework 4.0 or later.

Interface

The interface for Adminner is pretty plain. It has a series of menu options for Configuration, Services Tools, Computer Tools, File Tools, Account Tools, and Help.

The main part of the interface is left blank until a command is accessed or remote access is enabled to a LAN-connected computer that the user wishes to access remotely.
