Overview

StockMarketEye is a stock market portfolio tracking package that is capable of analyzing public companies that are listed on the stock market.

The user can view stock charts detailing the trading movement and patterns over a given period of time. Market data can be viewed for the company including its most recent price to earnings ratio, price to book ratio and many other analytical metrics that can help to get a good handle on the current valuation of the business.

The software not only can be used to research stocks, but it can also be used to analyze US mutual funds, US exchange traded funds (ETFs), currency and possible currency pairs trades, and market indices.

Set up trades and view how they would have played out over time. The software can view historical information going back over months or years. This can help to provide trading movement information, dividend payouts, share price patterns and movements.

Installation

The installation requires 81.3 MB of available space for the package to install.

There was no adware, toolbars, spyware or malware included with the setup package.

StockMarketEye requires Windows NT 3.x, XP, 2000, 2003, Vista or later version.

Interface

The interface is attractively laid out and clear for anyone who has a reasonable level of knowledge about market trading.

The interface includes a detailed menu system at the top and a sidebar down the left-hand side. The side bar includes a list of the portfolios entered into the package and watchlists for indices, stocks, ETFs and other tradeable items.

To the right is the main area which can change to different views depending on what is of interest. There is a separate toolbar for the main pane with toolbar buttons for Prices, Fundamentals, Add, Alerts, Details, Remove, Get Quotes, and Search.

The bottom pane is used to display price charts. There are buttons above the chart area let the user select between different periods of trading time like 1 day, 5 days, 4 weeks, etc.
